The Engineering drawing is potentially available in 3 formats; 1)A file for "viewing" the drawing, which is in acrobat pdf format; 2)A file for manipulating the drawing in a CAD system, which is in Autocad dxf format, compressed into a zip file; 3)A self-extracting version of the above compressed dxf zip file. Some products may have only a "viewing" file available, others may have none available, while others may have all 3 available. The Last Updated date, is an indication of how recent the drawing file is.
To save a file to disk, use the following instructions. Internet Explorer, version 4; Right click on a filename link and select the "Save Target As" option from the menu to save to disk. Netscape, versions 3 and 4; Right click on a filename link and select the "Save Link As" option from the menu or hold down the Shift key while you left-click the link to save to disk. Note:After unzipping or extracting the dxf formats, the file "msreadme.txt" is created for your information.
